Xishong  construction corporation which constructed huge public building in Hongkong was said to have no right to contract the government building for its history by the victims. The spokesman of holding the truth of world war two meeting of Hongkong, Kehua, said yesterday that there were 4000 to 5000 Hongkong citizens and mainland men were grasped to mines in Hainan, 5000 of them survived. They are going to demonstrate and ask for apologizing and compensation with other victims of the war.  Reporter Chen guanhui.

Kehua said , according to the Xishong attention team and other data related , they found that more than 20000 Hongkong people were grasped and sent to Hainan by Japanese army. There were hundreds of China laborers sent to Hiroshima as coolie to build the Anye power plant which was constructed by Xishong construction corporation. Under the terrible living situation, most of them were overworked to die.

History can not be repudiated!

Liu Qibiao who was sent to Hainan mining in 1943 had not been heard by his family yet. His grandson Liu Jianxian told something about his grandpa on the forum on the question of war crime of Xishong construction company, he said that considering the history of the company, if it did not apologize and repent, it should not get the contract from the government, no matter how good its quality was.

Lu Xuewen,  who was forced to be coolie in Hisroshima in 1944 from mainland Jinan, is 81 years old now.  He still bears the scene in his mind. He pointed to the steamed bun mold as big as half of the fist and said: “twelve hours works, three these steamed buns, compatriots, you see, we were young then, how hungry we were! ” He announced to engage in a lawsuit with the Xishong team then(now the Xishong construction company )  for the justice till his death.

Xishong took part in Hongkong construction in the sixties, which included the subway, west tunnel, new airport, part of number3 railroad, Jiaoye park etc..

The government spokesman said nothing about the number of laborers went to Hainan, but the data could be found in history data archives, he replenished.
