The花 冈 Insurrection |
|
Since July 1944, the 鹿岛组花冈出张所 in
Japan had impressed 986 Chinese labors. The鹿岛组treated Chinese labors so atrociously that over 200
labors were tortured to death in only half year. On June 30th,
1945, led by Geng Chun, the captain, 700 Chinese labors launched
the insurrection, but were cruelly squashed by the Japanese army.
After the surrender of Japan, only 544 Chinese labors in 花冈 survived to return to China |
