According to the statistics of Japan, the total
amount of the Chinese labors captured to Japan before getting
aboard is at least 41,762. They were separated in 169 batches.
2,823 of them died or escaped. 38,939 Chinese labors arrived Japan
and worked at 135 work sites of 55 corporations. Before the
surrender of Japan, 6,834 Chinese labors died. Force to work in a
foreign countries, the Chinese labors not only suffered the
feeling of missing homeland and family, but also caused disable or
dead under the exploitation and extraction of the Japanese
corporations. The Chinese labors struggled against the Japanese
enslavers in the forms of sabotage, escaping and insurrection.
